Once finished the MCE fair held in Milan from 13th to 16th March, AENOR Plastics Certification concludes what has been our second participation in this international fair as an exhibitor. The presence in this fair, which is undoubtedly one of the most important in the world in the field of building pipes and systems, especially cold and hot water and heating, is part of the promotion plan for the AENOR certified products that elaborates annually the Plastics Certification Committee.
The different questions regarding the international recognition of the AENOR Mark, in South America, and especially in South Africa, with certainty, has been the issue that has aroused more interest among manufacturers who have visited us. The recognition and acceptance of AENOR certificates issued with SANS standards by JASWIC, Joint Acceptance Scheme For Water Services Installation Components, greatly facilitates the marketing of AENOR certified products to the companies acting in South Africa.
On the other hand, the recent approval of the new revision of the Spanish Fire Protection Installation Regulation, RIPCI, and the extension of the AENOR certification to the random polypropylene with modified crystalline structure and glass fibre included in November 2017 revision of our specific rules RP 01.84, was another topic that gave rise to a good number of inquiries.
The number of contacts made and visits received at the fair, with customers, non-customers and other entities related to the sector, reinforce our idea to continue working on the internationalization of the AENOR Mark. Its diffusion and presence in new markets and expansion to new products, in order to provide even more added value to all those who have relied on the AENOR Mark as their tool to demonstrate confidence in the market.
