South Africa and China

AENOR has recently held meetings with the General Managers of the two associations of plastic pipe manufacturers affected, Jan Venter of SAPPMA, South African Plastic Pipes Manufacturers Association, in Johannesburg and Zhanjie Wang of CPPA, China Plastics Piping Association, in Beijing in order to detail the aspects of our participation and explore ways of joint collaboration.

The joint presence of AENOR Plastics Certification and CEIS at the international Plastic Pipe XVIII Conference held in Berlin last September 2016, AENOR Plastics Certification and CEIS sponsor the two specific conferences 2017 in South Africa and China.
South Africa's spin-off took place on September, the 4th and 5th in the City of Johannesburg. In the draft program, eminently technical where there is no place for commercial presentations, was scheduled a presentation of Ricardo Pascual, from AENOR, entitled "Quality Infrastructure: The Role of the different stakeholders", which gave a vision of the necessary elements for a reliable certification of plastic piping systems, highlighting the role of laboratories and accredited Certification Bodies in accordance with the international standards. On the other hand, the spin-off of China on October 2017, the 26th and 27th in Hangzhou City, where AENOR Plastics Certification and CEIS will make a presentation in the conference as well.
