Noise behaviour

On date 2014-08-04 have been approved the Specific Rules RP 01.80 which apply for the certification of “Noise behavior of PVC and/or PP pipes and/or fittings for soil and waste discharge within the building structure ".
This new certification of “Noise behavior” is focus in those manufacturers that already have certified by AENOR their product for soil and waste discharge. The requirement is that the noise behavior, tested according to the UNE-EN 14366, does not exceed the noise level in the installation of 30 dB for a flow rate of 4 l/s (measured behind the basement wall). The result is a better comfort in the building for sound reduction in compliance with the requirements of CTE warning about the needed to limit the risk of inconvenience on the houses. This scheme requires the performance of an annual product inspection visit to the factory for all products and applications subject to certification, with sampling to be tested in the Fraunhofer laboratory in Germany, only accredited laboratory to perform this test |
