As a result of the recent recognition of the AENOR brand in South Africa, local operators of plastic pipe systems have requested AENOR to expand its field of activity to new products in accordance with SANS standards.
Specifically, it has recently approved the RP 01.86 Certification rules of the AENOR Mark in accordance with the standard SANS 14236, for "Mechanical-joint compression fittings for use with polyethylene pressure pipes in water supply systems".
Likewise, it will be immediate the approval of RP 01.87 Certification rules of the AENOR AENOR_Mark according to the SANS 8770 standard, for Plastic piping systems for soil and waste discharge (low and high temperature) inside buildings - Polyethylene (PE)
