Award to Santos Santolino in
ANAIP, 60th anniversary
In the framework of the event "A circular future with plastics", the night of 2017-06-01 took place the gala dinner organized by ANAIP in the Royal Theater of Madrid to celebrate the 60th anniversary of this Association.
During the event, Mr. Santos Santolino Martín, President of the Plastics Certification Committee CTC-001, was awarded with a commemorative plaque in recognition of his work for 50 years in the activities of standardization and certification of plastic products, always together with ANAIP and AENOR, with whom he has been, and today continues, working closely. Mónica de la Cruz, Technical Director of ANAIP and Ricardo Pascual, of AENOR, were in charge of handing the recognition.
From these lines we would like to join this recognition for the work of a lifetime in the quality of plastic products, and the spread-out of his extensive knowledge of polymers both in his stage of 34 years as a researcher and teacher at the Institute of Science and Polymer Technology, as in his years in CEIS, where he assumed the responsibility of setting up a laboratory of plastic materials which ten years after its creation, is one of the most important laboratories in the world in its specialty.
As Chairman of the Plastics Certification Committee, he has participated as a speaker in conferences, seminars, round tables and other forums wherever activities have been carried out to promote the use of plastic products certified with the AENOR Mark.
Congratulations, President!
