The AENOR Mark for plastics renews its recognition as a Quality Mark of the
Spanish Building Technical Code (CTE)
The General Directorate of Architecture and Housing Policy of Ministry of Development renewed on 04/08/2016 recognition of the AENOR Mark in the General Register of Quality Marks of Building Technical Code (CTE).
This renewal of recognition allows products certified by AENOR to keep this demonstrative tool of compliance with the basic requirements of the CTE. This recognition, according to paragraph 7.2.2 of CTE, exempt from making work reception checks of the supplied products thanks to the distinctive quality AENOR Mark. Thus, the work confirms that the product entering meets the regulatory requirements and has been previously verified by AENOR, entity with recognized prestige. Additionally, the use of products certified by AENOR and recognized by the Administration reduces the execution time of the work, because reception mandatory controls are not necessary. AENOR Mark has the highest number of recognitions from the Ministry of Development for construction products, and within the 16 recognized families there are plastic piping systems for different applications in building and civil engineering. |
