New AENOR Scheme for:

​Fittings made of oriented unplasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-O) for the conveyance of water under pressure

With the publication of the new European standard EN 17176, for PVC-O pipes and fittings, a new AENOR Certification scheme has been developed for part 3 of the aforementioned standard, PVC-O Fittings.
The requirements for this new certification scheme are included in the Specific Rules RP 01.88, which has been approved dated 2019-12-02.

All the necessary activities are being carried out to issue the first Certificates for this new certification scheme.

Regarding the certification scheme of PVC-O pipes for the conveyance of water under, there is currently a Particular Regulation, RP 01.53, whose certification is developed in accordance with ISO 16422: 2015. With the publication of the European standard, Specific Rules, RP 01.53 has been revised to adapt it to the requirements of the new standard.
